River Nile Projects

Nile Journeys defines NILE as "Nurturing Impulses for Living Ecosystems" and connects ecological regeneration with youth leadership. The program set includes Heissa Island (Nubian community near Aswan, around 2,000 residents), Rusinga Island collaboration with RIOFA, and Ecovillage Design Education adapted to Nile Basin contexts, including the 2023 cohort hosted in Kenya.
